Louvre mask art exhibition underway
6 Aug 2014

A new mask-themed exhibition is currently underway in one of the world's top museums, The Louvre.

'Masks, Masquerades, and Mascarons' is taking place in the Parisian museum's Sully wing, and includes some one hundred pieces of art.

It's set to continue at the museum until September 22nd, having first begun there on June 19th.

There's the chance to see sculpture, painting, drawings and more at the show.

The Louvre can be visited between 9am and 6pm most days: It has later opening on a Wednesday and Friday and is closed every Tuesday and on certain public holidays.

Paris is a great spot for art lovers, with museums like The Pompidou Centre, the Musee Rodin and the soon to be re-opened Picasso Museum also helping to provide plenty to see in the city.ADNFCR-408-ID-801740441-ADNFCR
