Kate Bush live London concert dates almost here!
7 Aug 2014

After much anticipation, Kate Bush's sell-out live dates are nearly upon us.

There was much excitement among fans of the Wuthering Heights songstress when she gave word earlier this year that she would be performing in a series of concerts at the Eventim Apollo in London.

The last time the singer undertook a similar series of concerts was back in 1979 - one of the reasons that anticipation for the upcoming gigs is so great.

In a landmark event on August 26th, Bush will stride out onto the Apollo stage for the first of a series of performances at the Apollo which will be happening up to October 1st.

Bush first gained success on the UK music scene in 1978, with her first single, Wuthering Heights, which gave her a number one hit at the age of just 19.

The track, which remains one of Bush's best known, is inspired by the famous Emily Bronte story of the same name. It was quickly followed-up with further chart hits for Bush, whose most iconic singles include Wow, Babooshka and Running Up That Hill.

At the time of her last tour, Bush had released just two albums, The kick Inside and its swiftly-released follow-up, Lionheart.

But many years have passed and the star's studio albums now number ten.

Plenty of Kate's fans are sure to be descending on London in the coming weeks, ready to see her in action.

During their time in the city, they might like to check out other musical attractions, such as the pop stars on show in the city's branch of Madame Tussauds.

Other things to do in London include visiting art galleries like the Tate Britain, and museums like the British Museum. ADNFCR-408-ID-801740735-ADNFCR
