Italian fashion exhibition to open in Rome

This December will see MAXXI (the Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo) in Rome open an exhibition called Bellisima: Italy and High Fashion 1945-1968.

The exhibition, opening December 2nd, will highlight Italian-made fashion and is set to remain in place at MAXXI until May 27th next year, according to the museum.

It is being curated by Anna Mattirolo, Maria Luisa Frisa and Stefano Tonchi and is themed around a wide range of designers.

The varied museum can be found at Via Guido Reni, and is open every day except Mondays, with special late opening every Saturday.

There is a wide range of exhibitions on a variety of themes coming up and currently on show at the venue.

It's just one place that tourists visit in Rome, a city with countless other famous attractions such as the iconic Colosseum and St Peter's Basilica.
