A display about New Brutalism is set to open at London's Tate Britain in winter this year.

One of the BP Spotlights displays at the venue, New Brutalist Image 1949-1955, will begin November 24th and looks at how Eduardo Paolozzi, the sculptor, Nigel Henderson, the photographer, and Alison and Peter Smithson, both architects, worked together on a trio of projects.

Running until October 4th next year, it is set to look at how these initiatives were labelled 'New Brutalism'.

One of the projects was Parallel of Life and Art, an exhibition, while the others were both to do with buildings: a Norfolk School and an office for an engineer.

Other galleries that are popular with visitors to London include the National Portrait Gallery, Tate Modern and National Gallery, which is currently home to the exhibition Making Colour, which is set to close tomorrow (September 7th).ADNFCR-408-ID-801747024-ADNFCR
