London's National Gallery to present 'Soundscapes' next year
30 Sep 2014

A group of musicians and sound artists are set to make new works inspired by the National Gallery's collection, for an attraction it is planning to host next year.
Soundscapes: Listening to Paintings is set to be in place in the Sainsbury Wing of the London venue between July 8th and September 6th 2015.

Every one of the six artists involved are set to get their own room in the Wing, which will house a painting they have been inspired by, as well as their own sonic reaction to it.

It comes after Metamorphosis: Titian 2012 at the National Gallery saw choreographers, dancers, poets and artists of other kinds reacting to Titan works.

The sounds of Soundscapes: Listening to Paintings are going to be exclusive to this art event.ADNFCR-408-ID-801751554-ADNFCR
