Book lovers planning a stateside trip should head over to Boston to experience its very own Literary District.

Extending from the city’s Back Bay East area, through to Beacon Hill and ending in the Financial District, the Literary District offers not only a website with various areas of interest, but also includes a calendar of events. From Writers Booths, to tours of specific buildings of interest, and conversations with local bloggers, the Literary District caters for all lovers of books. Food lovers can also expect some themed cuisine.

While taking a walk through the beautiful city, explore the birthplace of Curious George, see the streets where Henry James and Robert Frost lived, and visit the former offices of magazines including The Colored American Magazine and The Woman’s Journal.

The Brattle Book Shop on West Street, in particular, is a must-visit. One of America’s oldest and largest used book shops, if it’s an antique you’re looking for, or just a brand new read to take home as a souvenir, make sure you pop by during your visit.ADNFCR-408-ID-801753182-ADNFCR
