Travelling around Budapest to become easier thanks to a new app

Heading to a new city can often be daunting, especially when it comes to figuring out how to get from A to B using public transport.

Now, however, those heading to Budapest have reason to feel relieved as The Centre for Budapest Transport has launched a new journey planner app.

The new app, which has been called FUTÁR, is available for tablets and smartphones, offering door-to-door trip planning for those travelling in the Hungarian capital.

It gives detailed -including real-time - information on schedules for buses, trams and trolleybuses.

The FUTÁR journey planner is the last part of a development that has taken four years to complete in Budapest which had aimed to follow and connect all surface public transportation that operates in the city via satellite.

The app has already proved popular with thousands of people having downloaded and used it already.ADNFCR-408-ID-801755542-ADNFCR
