Hunger Games fans will want to hit London for a stage spectacular
11 Nov 2014

The Hunger Games, based upon the novels by Suzanne Collins, has become one of the most popular and highly anticipated box office franchises of late and ‘Tributes’ (fans of the books and film) will no doubt be excited to hear that it is going to be turned into a stage show in London.

The story of Katniss Everdeen and the dystopian world in which she lives will be brought to life in a purpose-built theatre that is going to be created close to Wembley Stadium. Those who have seen the films will be aware that a ‘regular’ theatre stage wouldn’t really give justice to The Hunger Games so it stands to reason that it won’t actually be open until summer 2016.

The stage show will see the film studio, Lionsgate, team up with Dutch media company Imagine Nation and Triangular Entertainment, with Tony Award-winning producer, Robin de Levita, creating the show.ADNFCR-408-ID-801759511-ADNFCR
