20 March 2006
From May 2nd Air Berlin will start flights from Belfast City Airport to London Stansted.
The airline's expansion will mean travellers from Northern Ireland will be able to head to seven European destination, including Vienna, Leipzig and Berlin, via its hub in Stansted.
Air Berlin also claims that the new route could also have a positive impact on the Northern Irish tourism industry.

Flights start at £19 one-way to London and from £29 to other European destinations.
Belfast City Airport is also served by Aer Arann, British Airways, Flybe, BMI and Euromanx.
