Visitors to Las Vegas are getting younger, according to latest figures.
The average age of visitors to the world capital of gambling fell by two years to 47-years-old, while the 30 to 39 age group formed 20 per cent of all visitors, up from 16 per cent last year.
In total 32 million people headed to the Nevada city for a holiday.
The Las Vegas Visitor Profile Study shows the younger visitors also continue to be happy with 94 per cent saying they were "very satisfied" with their trip to the city.
A spokesman for the Las Vegas tourism authority said: "Las Vegas' largest audience is still derived the baby boomer generation, but the number of Generation X visitors drawn to the destination is growing."
The growing number of young people heading to the city has in part been boosted by the star appeal of the city with George Clooney building a casino resort there and many younger celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears choosing to party in style in Vegas.
