Rock lovers from around Europe will come together this June for a festival that provides a dream line up.
Milan's Gods of Metal festival lives up to its name with Guns N' Roses, Korn, Deftones and Alice in Chains all featuring on the bill.
Other bands include Whitesnake, Def Leppard and Motorhead.
The Gods of Metal come together on 1 to 4 June at Milan's tenth anniversary rock festival on the banks of the IdroPark lake.
The concert is very much against most people's image of Milan, where fashion, history and la dolce vita are the strongest selling points.
Nightclubs across the city offer music to suit of tastes from metal to jazz, and most clubs are found in the south of the city in the Ticinese quarter and around the Brera gallery in the centre.
Clubs usually open until the early hours of the morning and the Milanese tend to arrive late and avoid midweek nights out.
