Heathrow Express bags Europe's first 'videowall'

The first ever movie 'videowall' advert is coming to Europe on board the Heathrow Express.
The videowall, developed by Microsoft, is created by installing 450 digital 'frames' along the 1,500 feet of tunnel covered by the Heathrow Express during the 15-minute journey which speeds travellers from Heathrow to Paddington.
As the train travels at 70 miles per hour, the series of static wall images blur to create a 15-second piece of moving image.
The tunnel advertising technology comes from Canadian firm SideTrack, who have previously created moving advertisements in tunnels in Boston, Mexico City, Monterrey and Rio de Janeiro, but this is the first time it has been introduced in Europe.
Teams have been working through the night to get the 450 images up on the wall of the tunnel in time for the launch.
The Heathrow Express has just been voted UK customers' favourite train service, with a satisfaction rating of 96 per cent, according to research from rail watchdog PassengerFocus.
