Bristol's meet and greet service
20 February 2007
A new initiative at Bristol International airport is being introduced to take some of the hassle out of flying.
As of March 2007, the airport will provide a meet and greet service, which will see passengers drive up to the hub before handing their keys over to a concierge.
The passenger can then get on with checking in and boarding their flight, without having to worry about finding a parking space.
Upon returning to the airport, passengers can go through the same process, only this time in reverse, with a quick phone call informing the concierge that it is time to bring the car to a pick up point.
The idea is to allow passengers to pass through the airport as quickly as possible, something which will be particularly appealing to those who are in a rush.
'Passengers who often find themselves short of time, who don't want to carry luggage for any great distance or simply who prefer to avoid the elements are all likely to find this new meet and greet service appealing,' said Jim McAuliffe from Bristol International.
'From busy businessmen to families with young children, this service provides the ultimate in convenience and speed.'
