A new luxury chauffer service is being launched by Etihad Airways for passengers travelling to and from Sydney airport.

Those travelling in pearl (business) and diamond (first) class will be able to benefit from the service which will remove the hassle of getting to the airport for passengers.

'Etihad has established a reputation for the very highest standards of hospitality and the chauffeur service is a further example of our service quality,' said Cramer Ball, Etihad Airways' country manager for Australia.

'We understand that the ground experience is just as important as the service in the air with travelling time to and from airports often leaving passengers feeling pressured, something the chauffeur service totally removes.'

Those travelling in diamond class will be chauffeured in a Mercedes S Class or a BMW 7 Series, both of which are luxurious cars. Pearl class passengers will ferried in a Holden Caprice.

Etihad already offers the chauffer service at London Heathrow, Manchester, New York, Munich, Frankfurt and all of the biggest hubs in the United Arab Emirates.
