Gatwick prepares for Bank Holiday

London's Gatwick airport is gearing up for the second busy period it has had to cope with this month.
The UK is about to embark on its second Bank Holiday of May and airport officials are anticipating an influx of passengers.
The Whitsun Bank Holiday begins on 25 May and continues until 28 May and thousands of people will e looking to get away for a long weekend.
Gatwick staff are anticipating 465,000 people will pass through the hub during the holiday, with Sunday due to be the busiest day.
Around 119,000 passengers should go through the airport on 27 May, with Spain and Portugal the top destinations.
Additional security staff have been brought in to help deal with the rush and the airport's South Terminal is to open 24 hours a day so that early fliers can utilise the eating and shopping facilities on offer.
