Italy to host Beard and Moustache European Championship

Held every year on Campo Campidelli in Grottagli, the Barba e Baffi (beard and Moustache) European Championship will soon be underway in Italy.
With a number of categories, prizes and ultimate fame and glory for the winner, this competition has to be entered by anyone that seriously prides their facial hair.
Indeed, hundreds of bearded men are currently washing, waxing, curling, brushing and combing their exquisitely sculptured facial hair in the hope of attaining victory.
In the moustache category, competition is open to 'Dali', Hungarian, English and Chinese styles among others, while men will be displaying beards in the fashion of Garibaldi, Verdi, or good old-fashioned 'free-style'.
The Beard and Moustache European Championship will be held on 4 August in the town of Grottaglie, located in the Salento peninsula in the region of Puglia, in southern Italy. Anyone travelling in the area would be remiss to miss such a hairy spectacle!
