The Chemical Brothers to raise the roof in Prague
10 July 2007
Following the recent release of their hugely anticipated sixth studio album, We Are The Night, The Chemical Brothers will be embarking upon a summer tour of Europe and stopping in the Czech Republic at Prague's T-Mobile Arena on 10 August.
Along with the French electronic outfit Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers are widely regarded as one of the most pioneering acts in mainstream dance music, held responsible for breathing new life into the flagging genre during the 90s by integrating pop and rock influences.
The duo's 1995 debut album Exit Planet Dust was an international hit, establishing Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons as the most important names in the UK dance rock scene.
Over the last 12 years they have released albums mixing techno, hip-hop, rock and pop influences to create a constantly evolving sound, while collaborating with many of the biggest names in the industry.
