Air France confirms Heathrow-LA services
12 December 2007

Following the completion of its joint venture agreement with Delta Air Lines earlier this year, Air France has confirmed the availability of flights between London Heathrow and Los Angeles.

The service will run on a daily basis from the end of March 2008, using a Boeing 777 aircraft.

Customers will be able to choose from Air France's economy, business or first class cabins.

In other developments to its business resulting from the agreement with Delta, Air France will sell tickets on a range of transatlantic flights beginning 30 March, including a service connecting Manchester with Atlanta and a link between Edinburgh and New York.

Bruno Matheu, executive vice-president of marketing and networks for the airline, said: 'The launch of new transatlantic routes marks a very important phase in our development strategy.

'The Air France-KLM group is already establishing itself as a major player in London, one of the world's fastest-growing air transport markets.'
