Scottish brothers to embark on worldwide challenge
14 December 2007
Two brothers from Scotland are to embark on a worldwide journey that will see them undertaking challenges all over the globe.
Lindsay and Lee Vine from Fife will attempt 101 tasks in various parts of the world, with the exact assignments to be carried out to be decided by visitors to the brothers' website.
Among the challenges that have been set are to create a 101-person conga line on the Great Wall of China, spend a day carrying a Sherpa in Nepal and take ice-skating lessons in Singapore.
Lindsay Vine told the BBC that most of the tasks that have been set are 'pain-inducing', but admitted that there was one particular type of test that he was looking forward to.
'The challenges that I'm looking forward to are the eating ones,' he said.
'I'll eat anything. Sea slugs, live prawns, the delicacies of every continent that we go to.'
The brothers will embark on their journey, which will raise money for a number of good causes, on 27 December.
