Austrian 'offers best connections to US'

Austrian Airlines has claimed that it now offers the best connecting flights to the US following a codeshare agreement with United Airlines.
The carrier announced that, with immediate effect, it is offering services to 20 cities in the US as a result of its cooperation with its Star Alliance partner.
Austrian will operate a direct connection between Vienna and Chicago O'Hare, and from there passengers will be able to access a range of connections throughout the US.
The new schedule will include links to destinations including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver and Saint Louis.
Existing north Atlantic services offered by the national carrier include daily flights to New York, Washington and Toronto.
Austrian operates these services with its Boeing long-haul fleet, which is equipped with business class amenities including lie-flat sleeper seats, in-flight catering and a 'Vienna coffee house' service.
