New Korean Cultural Centre opens in London
12 February 2008

A new Korean Cultural Centre has opened in the centre of London next to Trafalgar Square.

The Korea Tourism Organisation announced that the aim of the centre was to host a range of events that will appeal to those with a specialist interest in the country as well as the general public.

A number of events will be held at the centre that the tourism organisation claims will be of great interest to admirers of Korean culture.

In addition to these events, the facility will offer library facilities and IT rooms open on a 'drop-in' basis making it easy for visitors to learn more about the country.

Those who wish to take their interest further and people considering visiting Korea can attend language courses and specialist lectures given by experts and academics.

South Korea is an increasingly popular tourist location in south-east Asia, with many visitors travelling to see Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul, one of the country's major attractions.

Flights to the country are available with carriers including Air France and Korean Air.
