Hungary warms up for festival season

Hungary is set to welcome an influx of visitors this summer for a number of festivals being held in the country.
Kicking off the season will be the Liszt Festival on 18 July, which will include a number of piano recitals in honour of the composer and pianist Ferenc Liszt.
This event will run until 31 July in the town of Sopron.
One of the highlights of the season for modern music fans will be Balaton Sound, which will come to Lake Balaton in July.
One of Hungary's newest music festivals, this event is in an accessible location and last year hosted artists including Basement Jaxx, the Beastie Boys and DJ Darren Emerson.
Budapest, the capital of Hungary, will host the Sziget Festival from 12 to 18 August, one of Europe's largest summer music events, which takes place on Old-Buda Island in the River Danube.
Iron Maiden and REM are among the bands that have already confirmed for this year's festival.
Celebrations in Hungary will reach a peak on 20 August, when parties and fireworks displays all over the country mark St Stephen's Day.
