Bordeaux Wine Festival to celebrate 10 years

The Bordeaux Wine Festival will be celebrating its tenth anniversary this year with a change of scenery.
Wine lovers from all over Europe will enjoy the event between 26 and 29 June on the quays on the bank of the Garonne River, from Pont de Pierre to the Bourse Maritime.
This year's 'guest of honour' will be the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, which will follow the lead of recent guests Oporto, Munich and Fukuoka.
An entire pavilion will be dedicated to Saint Petersburg, to celebrate its exchanges with Bordeaux in fields including research, aerospace, art and culture.
Visitors to the festival can purchase a tasting pass for €13 (£10.30), which will include a glass, a tasting notebook and a number of tickets and special offers, and allow them to explore at their own pace the diversity of wines from the Bordeaux and Aquitaine region.
There will also be musical performances, including a show by the Bordeaux Aquitaine National Orchestra and the Bordeaux Opera Choir on 26 June.
