Etihad to show off new services
07 April 2008
Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will be showing off its new routes and services at a travel show in Oman this month, according to reports.
The Oman Travel Market will be held at the International Exhibition Centre in Muscat, the country's capital, between 15 and 17 April.
Etihad will use the occasion to promote a number of new services, including upcoming flights to Beijing and links to the Indian destinations of Chennai, Jaipur, Kolkata and Kozhikode.
The airline will also exhibit its range of inflight products, including its flat-bed seat options on first and business class flights, Trade Arabia reports.
Jaffar Juma Abdullah Al Lawati, Etihad's country manager for Oman, said: 'Etihad continues to expand a global network of destinations which are all easily accessible and very popular with our customers travelling from Oman.
'In order to build the Etihad brand further it is vital that we exhibit at the Oman Travel Market because it is so well respected across the region and throughout the travel industry.'
Oman is situated on the eastern tip of the Arabian peninsula, with borders on the UAE, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
