Cirque du Soleil arrives in Spain
28 July 2008

People interested in the idea of combining some circus entertainment with a holiday can head to Spain over the coming months to experience Cirque du Soleil.

The world famous entertainment company started its run in the city of Alicante on 24 July and will present its show Quidam until 31 August.

Quidam features all of the extraordinary acts one would expect to see at a Cirque du Soleil show, including aerial contortionists, groups of synchronised acrobats and various other demonstrations of balance, poise and physical skill.

Visitors to Alicante will be able to find the show under the 'Grand Chapiteau' on Calle Xativa.

Cirque du Soleil will take Quidam to Barcelona's Avinguda Litoral from 11 September to 19 October before heading to the Brussels Kart Expo from 30 October.

Visitors to London will be able to see the show at the Royal Albert Hall from 7 January 2009 until 1 February.
