Air Malta launches web check-in
01 August 2008
Passengers with national airline Air Malta are now able to check in for their flights online following the launch of a new web facility.
Customers travelling with or without luggage can check in online between 23 hours and two hours prior to their flight and print out their own boarding passes.
People with baggage should proceed to the drop-off web check-in counter at their airport in order to deposit their bags to be boarded onto the plane.
Air Malta chief executive Joe Cappello said: 'With web check-in Air Malta is continuing to invest and make use of innovative technology to enhance our customers' experience.
'We are not only simplifying the check-in process but also saving valuable time [for] our passengers.'
The online check-in service is available from Malta to EU countries and from London Gatwick, London Stansted, Birmingham, Zurich, Geneva, Vienna, Athens, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Berlin to Malta.
More destinations could be added to this list in the future.
