TAP Portugal offers quicker Lisbon departures

TAP Portugal has implemented new services at Lisbon airport designed to offer quicker access to the departure lounge for some passengers.
TAP executive and TAP plus customers, Gold and Silver Victoria programme members and TAP Corporate card holders can make use of the new security control and priority X-ray services at Lisbon.
These new options, which were launched on 11 August, are part of major investment by the airline in the development of its business travel segment.
It recently launched a range of products and services for business passengers that prioritise speed, comfort and flexibility.
Also on offer at Lisbon airport is the Espaco Premium centre, which provides business passengers with a number of check-in and customer care services.
On 1 August, TAP Portugal broke its own record for the highest number of passengers carried on a single day when it transported some 33,464 travellers.
This flow of traffic helped the company hit the 5m passenger mark at the beginning of August this year, a milestone that it did not reach until the end of the month in 2007.
