Mickey Mouse weddings on the rise

New research reveals that twice as many men would like to experience a Mickey Mouse-style wedding in Disneyland compared to women.
According to a study of 2,000 people nationwide by Halifax, details of the top wedding locations the world over have been revealed.
Disneyland Paris placed at seventh in the list while continuing the continental theme, the French Riviera came in at sixth.
Halifax also noted that the recent spate of celebrity overseas weddings has played its part in encouraging the uptake of overseas nuptials.
'Destination weddings are increasing in popularity as the likes of Coleen and Wayne and now Peaches and her husband opt for such a thing,' Vicky Watson, spokesperson for Halifax Travel Insurance, said.
Coleen and Wayne Rooney married on the Italian Riviera - which placed at third on the list, while Peaches Geldof married in Las Vegas - which came in at number four.
Ms Watson added that these 'destination weddings' were comparable in many ways to planning a holiday - for example the need for travel insurance.
The Caribbean was named number one location in the overseas wedding survey.
