Parisian fun
10 March 2006

Heading to a funfair may not be everyone's first thought of what to do in Paris, but this April and May you can enjoy the big wheel and candy floss with a Gallic twist.

For those heading to the French capital with families the Foire du Trone provides a great opportunity to relax and enjoy a different side to the French capital.

The fair offers all the traditional roller coaster rides, dodgems, thrills and spills and the chance to win a cuddly toy.

Besides Disneyland Resort Paris, there are many attractions for the family in Paris.

The Theatre Guignol takes the family into the world of puppet theatre, with beautifully crafted marionettes brought to life in a number of different performances, so enthralling that children will barely notice any language barrier.

For a truly magical experience the place to head is the Musee de la Magie (Museum of Magic).

As well as getting to learn a few of the magicians' secret and see a rabbit or two appear from a hat, the museum also runs a series of shows to delight, amaze and dazzle.
