Pregnant stars take to the skies
15 March 2006
Despite being pregnant a number of high profile stars have ignored potential health risks and have been spotted flying recently.
Spurred on by love, Batman Returns star Katie Holmes recently joined her fiancé Tom Cruise on a trip to Australia.
Despite doctors' orders not to fly, the 27-year-old, who is currently eight months pregnant, decided to continue with her jet-setting lifestyle.
However, Tom insisted that she was accompanied on the 14-hour flight in their private jet by a medical team.
And spurred on by adrenaline, the delectable Angelina Jolie was spotted taking flying lessons in France.
The former Tomb Raider star and girlfriend of Brad Pitt, who is pregnant with her first child, took to the skies in a single engine plane from Paris for a flight over the South of France.
According to The Post Chronicle, the sky may not be a limit enough for Ms Jolie, as the Hindustan Times reports that she and Brad Pitt have expressed an interest in booking tickets on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic Spaceship, which is due to take off in 2010.
