Zurich named top city

Zurich has been named the best city in the world to live in.
Research by Mercer Human Resource Consulting took into account many factors, many of which appeal to visitors as well as residents, such as climate and leisure activities, including theatres, restaurants and shops, and transport.
Narrowly behind Zurich on the list was fellow Swiss city Geneva, followed by Vancouver, Vienna and Auckland.
Germany also faired well in the chart with Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich all in the top ten, along with Sydney and Bern.
This summer people will be heading to this year's top city for the tenth annual Zurich Festival, held between 16 June and 9 July.
Around 80 different concerts, operas, ballets and plays run during the festival with performers from around the world at 13 different venues.
Zurich's main station even holds a Viennese-themed Midsummer Night's Ball.
