Baltic beer bonanza
27 April 2006
One of the largest beer festivals in Europe returns this summer to Estonia.
Tallinn's Ollesummer Festival - running from 5 to 9 July - is only beaten for size by Oktoberfest in Munich.
Held at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, on the Baltic coast, the festival is dedicated to both beer and music.
In total there will be ten stages across the three themed zones offering music to suit all tastes.
Uncommonly for a beer festival there is a children's zone, with children's shows, discos and aerobics.
The rest of the festival covers all genres of music from jazz in the wine garden to pop and rock.
This year, as well as the Estonian bands, performers will come from across Europe and Cuba.
Traditional Estonian cuisine and will also be on sale allowing visitors to get a well-rounded view of the Baltic nation's culture.
