Kenya Airways increases European services
31 May 2006

Kenya Airways is set to increase the number of services from London and Amsterdam to Nairobi.

The airline will add three further weekly flights to the Kenyan capital from Heathrow Terminal 4 in response to increased demand from UK travellers.

In partnership with strategic partner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Kenya Airways will also add a third daily flight from Amsterdam to Nairobi from Saturday, July 1.

Kenya Airways' country manager David Granville said: 'The extra flights will provide our UK passengers with greater freedom and flexibility of connectivity and choice, when flying to Kenya and our onward destinations this summer.'

The airline has also reported a 24% growth in profits in the last year with passenger numbers up by 17% to 2.4m which was said to be down to the use of larger aircraft on routes to Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
