F1 winner Button chills on Formentera
16 August 2006

British racing star Jenson Button has been taking a break between races on the Balearic island of Formentera.

After making his debut win in the Hungarian Grand Prix on 6th August, the Honda driver is half-way through the three-week break before the Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul.

Button, 26, was on Formentera with friends taking advantage of the privacy the island offers, reports Hello.

However, he is not the first racing driver to take the 25-minute ferry journey from Ibiza to Formentera, as Michael Schumacher and Giancarlo Fisichella have both already spent some time there this summer.

After the Turkish grand Prix, the Formula 1 season has four races left to decide the championship with title contenders Schumacher and Fernando Alonso separated by just ten points.

The final races are in Italy, China, Japan and Brazil.
