US Spa Week spreads to 15 more cities

Fifteen cities are to take part in this year's Spa Week.
Over 300 spas are taking part in the event with many cutting the prices of their treatments.
Spa Week this year is taking place over two separate weeks from 10 to 24 September on the west coast and from 16 to 22 October on the east coast.
The first week includes spas in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle and Arizona while the October Spa Week sees centres in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, Chicago and Miami offering their services.
This year also sees the first time that those heading to spas can rate the service they receive, with the best being honoured at an awards ceremony later in the year.
Organisers of the week recommend that travellers expecting to relax should book beforehand.
Advice to make the spa treatments really worthwhile include to avoid food for an hour or so beforehand, not drink on the day, drink water and not be afraid to speak up and say if everything is not perfect.
In the US it is also common for customers to tip in a spa, but it is worth checking an individual spa's policy.
