Irish eyes smile for Jacko
01 September 2006
Pop star Michael Jackson has been holidaying in Ireland.
His secret extended break in Ireland has lasted three months and along with his three children - Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II - he has been staying at Luggala Castle in County Wicklow.
During his stay he was spotted in the nearby town of Wicklow with his kids, dining at local restaurants and visiting the cinema.
The castle which has room for 12 guests - reportedly costs £20,000 a week to stay in if visitors want butlers, cleaners and kitchen staff on hand.
Jackson's holiday in Ireland may become a little more permanent as it was reported earlier this year that he was considering buying a property in the country.
The staff at Luggala Castle were probably not overly star stuck by the Thriller singer as previous visitors to the castle have included Mel Gibson and Orlando Bloom.
