Luxury complex planned for Morocco

A new luxurious leisure complex is planned for Morocco, boasting a top-notch hotel and impressive golfing facilities.
On Tuesday government officials met to sign a 1.8 billion dirhams deal ($110 million) to build the new centre in the already booming Marrakech region, Reuters reports.
Morocco's prime minister, Driss Jettou, was present at the ceremony as part of the Vision 2010 campaign, an initiative to help Morocco achieve its aim of attracting 10 million tourists by the year 2010.
The work will be completed by the CSD-Frenton group and New Mauritus Hotel firm and will create 1,545 job opportunities and 5,300 extra hotel beds over the next 5 years.
Morocco is becoming an increasingly popular beach and culture destination featuring the Essaouira beach and awesome Atlas Mountains.
Come autumn, temperatures remain in the upper 20s and holiday makers are encouraged to move inland where popular traditional townhouses (riads) are available with roof terraces ideal for sunbathing and sightseeing.
