Virgin offers music lessons
13 October 2006

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers are set to benefit from Gibson Guitar master classes.

Should they wish to, passengers will be offered the chance to learn a piece of music while they wait for their flight at Heathrow's Clubhouse Sky Lounge.

The lessons will be carried out by Pete Southern every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

'Gibson Guitar is legendary and we are delighted to offer lessons to our Upper Class passengers on these celebrated instruments, especially by a master guitar player like Pete,' said Alison Copus, director of marketing at Virgin Atlantic.

'I am sure we have some frustrated rock gods amongst our Upper Class passengers, so it should go down well.'

Gibson Guitars are recognised around the world as some of the most prestigious instruments available and music legends such as Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Bob Dylan and many others, have all used their guitars.

Virgin Atlantic Airways' clubhouse at Heathrow cost £11m to create and contains a spa, steam room and sauna.
