Sydney is super city

Readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine in the US have voted Sydney their top city for an eleventh consecutive year.
Sydney received the award at a New York ceremony after nearly 30,000 readers voted on factors including ambience, friendliness, culture, shopping and eating.
Sydney's high score of 87.7 put the city in first place, ahead of Florence (86.8) and San Francisco (85.9).
New South Wales' minister for tourism Sandra Nori welcomed the acclaim from these 'sophisticated travellers' and congratulated 'Sydneysiders' for helping making the city so popular.
She commented that what made Sydney a great place to visit also makes it a great place to live, with its 'enviable mix of events, beauty, sophistication and relaxed vibe'.
Sydney's star attractions include the harbour bridge, opera house, and 365-day sunshine on Bondi beach.
Other winners included Bangkok for top Asian city and Cape Town for top city in Africa and the Middle East.
