Grenada sees major investment

Grenada's biggest ever tourism project has been hailed by the country's prime minister, who commended his nation's resilience.
Prime minister Keith Mitchell made his comments at the Sod Turning Ceremony of the Port Louis Development, reports Travel Daily News.
Grenada's tourism minister also attended the event and echoed the words of Mr Mitchell.
'Grenada is now poised to become one of the top tourism destinations in the Caribbean,' said Brenda Hood.
She then went on to praise the people of Grenada for the work they have done to restore the country to its former self following the devastation left in the wake of hurricane Ivan.
'Our tourism product is being developed by resilient, creative and hardworking people who are prepared to place the needs of their country first,' she said.
'I want to say that in almost every case persons have built back their businesses better.
'We have not been daunted by Ivan, we now are at a point where our facilities and services are better than they have ever been,' added Ms Hood.
The tourism minister went on to outline that Grenada is now attracting serious investment in its tourism industry.
