Vietnam's Beach Festival 2007

Vietnam has chosen the host city for its annual Beach Festival which set to be held in April 2007.
Nha Trang city, which has held the event every year since it began in 2005, is expecting an influx of visitors during the festivities, reports Thanh Nien News.
When it was held there in 2006, Nha Trang saw 250,000 tourists descend onto its beaches.
The Beach Festival 2007 promises to be one of the liveliest there has been, with performance artists coming together to entertain the masses.
As well as Vietnamese performers, there will also be people from China, Korea and Ukraine singing and dancing on the beaches and in the streets of Nha Trang.
The festival will officially be opened on 28 April at Nha Trang's Hai Thang Tu Square, with thousands expected to attend the beginning of the week-long event.
Organisers of the Beach Festival 2007 will not just be about the fun however, with seminars on the sustainability of Nha Trang bay taking place between mini festivals of beer, fish and flowers.
