Music festival tours the resorts
08 December 2006

A music festival will be kicking off on the slopes of Ketchum and Sun Valley in the US next year.

Revellers are preparing for the five-day event, which has been described by organisers as the 'loudest show on snow'.

The BaseCamp Music Experience will see performances from the likes of Blackalicious, DJ Logic and Spearhead, all coming together for the Ski Tour.

The musicians will travel to a number of different resorts as part of the tour including Breckenridge and Squaw Valley between 11 January and 14 January.

As well as the music, there will be plenty of skiing and other events to keep revellers happy during their ski holiday.

Bonfires, fireworks, a film festival and a number of parties are all on the agenda, with high-class skiing competitions thrown in for good measure.

Some of the world's top skiers will be entering the competitions, which include half-pipe and skiercross disciplines, with a £250,000 prize fund.
