KLM improves catering

People flying with KLM Royal Dutch Airline (KLM) will now benefit from a completely revamped onboard catering service.
Passengers flying in KLM World Business Class, KLM Select and KLM Intercontinental Economy Class will all benefit from the improvements.
World Business Class passengers will be treated to a menu created by Jacques and Laurent Pourcel, two brothers who run a number of high-class restaurants around the world.
Intercontinental Economy Class passengers will see their portions increased by as much as 40 per cent, in response to results of a customer survey, while cutlery, rays and crockery will also be improved.
'The improvements were prompted by surveys conducted among passengers, assessing their needs and ratings of our in-flight products,' said Erik Varwijk, executive vice president of KLM Inflight Services.
'The new products were developed in collaboration with leading gastronomic experts. We will be offering better quality meals and we have modernized the design of our trays, crockery and cutlery."
KLM has also made moves to ensure it is providing tempting to food to all of its passengers, by offering passengers flying from India a choice of Indian and Western cuisine.
