TomKat's Italian wedding tops poll

A recent poll has found that the marriage of film stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, collectively known as TomKat, was the top wedding of the year.
According to readers of In Touch magazine, last month's ceremony, which took place at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy, and was attended by numerous celebrities, including David Beckham, was the Wedding of the Year.
In fact, it has been quite a year for high profile weddings in glamorous locations.
In second place of the poll was Deryck Whibley and Avril Lavigne ceremony's, which took place in Montecito, California, while Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson tied the knot in St Tropez, France to claim third.
Other notable wedding locations included Fiji, where Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling were married and Costa Rica, which saw the ceremony of Pink and Carey Hart.
Italy also saw the marriage of Thomas Jane and Patricia Arquette in Venice.
