Nude Olympics in Australia
05 February 2007
Around 1,000 people from around the world are to gather in Australia for the annual Nude Olympics.
Organisers are expecting a bumper turnout at this year's event, although there is a warning to wear plenty of sunscreen as temperatures soar.
The Olympics are taking place on Maslin Beach and, due to a shortage of shade, participants and spectators are being advised to bring some shelter.
As well as traditional Olympic events, the nude games will see a flag race and a sack race, with a number of other events thrown in.
'The main popular one for adults is of course Miss Maslin Junior and Miss Maslin Senior and for the males we've got the best bum competition,' one of the organisers told ABC News.
Maslin Beach sits just south of Adelaide and has featured in a movie which used its name as its title. It is also Australia's first official nudist beach.
