Superbowl winners head to Hawaii for relaxation and Pro Bowl
12 February 2007

Having just won the Superbowl, the Indianapolis Colts and their quarterback, Peyton Manning, headed to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl game and some relaxation.

Manning and four of his Colts team-mates made the 4,340 mile trip last Tuesday on a chartered plane.

As is the custom for Superbowl champions, they were greeted by excited fans who made the trip at Honolulu, with MVP Manning being the centre of attention.

The quarterback was keen to stress that this, his seventh visit to Hawaii for the game, was more about taking it easy than the football.

'There won't be a lot of motivation going on out there,' he said. 'This will be a cruise-control kind of week.'

The Colts players will be staying at a resort on the west shore of Oahu, hoping that the rain, which had initially greeted them at Hawaii, will stop and give them the chance to catch some sun.
