Almond opens St Lucia resort

People taking a holiday in St Lucia will soon be able to enjoy themselves in the Almond Smugglers Cove.
The new resort from Almond id due to open this month (February) and will be the second hotel that the firm owns in the eastern Caribbean.
Almond Smugglers Cove is a four-star resort, with 360 brand new rooms set across a 60-acre estate.
The resort is set among some of the island's most beautiful and lush tropical gardens, making it a paradise within a paradise for anyone on a Caribbean holiday.
A private beach is included as part of the resort, while there will also be five swimming pools, seven tennis courts, a fitness centre, a wealth of water sports, a golf course and a number of other fantastic facilities and activities.
'The opening of Smugglers Cove, our second St Lucian hotel property, is an important milestone in our continued expansion into the family-friendly premium all-inclusive hotel market in the Caribbean,' said Peter Grace from Almond Resorts.
'The new hotel will maintain all of Almond's key brand values as well as offer customers an additional choice of Almond properties.'
