Zinedine Zidane in Thailand
21 February 2007

Football legend Zinedine Zidane has been spotted enjoying a family holiday in Thailand.

The former French international player is in the country to play in a charity tournament, but took time away to take in the sights of Bangkok.

He was joined by his wife of 13 years and their four children and made the most of this chance to see as much of Thailand as possible.

The children were taken to a high-octane Thai boxing match, one of the most popular activities among tourists and locals, before Zidane and his wife headed off to take in some of the country's more relaxing sights.

The couple visited the Grand Palace, which is a former royal residence and just one of Thailand's many cultural gems.

Thailand has grown in popularity among tourists in recent years and it is clear to see why people return year after year.

Many revisit due to the warm climate, fantastic beaches, wonderful local cuisine, picturesque markets and extremely friendly locals.
