Helen Mirren is in the UK

Dame Helen Mirren has arrived in England following her Oscar success for the movie The Queen.
Although she was born in England, the star now lives in Los Angeles with her film director husband.
Dame Helen is now in the UK to visit family and friends and will probably be making a few public appearances, especially if her welcome at Heathrow airport is going to be echoed wherever she goes.
The star was greeted by a spontaneous outburst of applause from fellow passengers as she arrived in the country and took the time to sign autographs and pose for photographs.
'It was incredible and she looked really touched by it,' one fan told Hello! magazine.
Dame Helen arrived at the airport still clutching her Oscar in one hand and pulling her luggage in the other.
'I've just had the most incredible welcome to my country,' she told reporters. 'It's very, very sweet.'
It is not known how long Dame Helen will be in the UK for.
