Scottish aquatic centre receives award

Aquatic wildlife fans will be delighted to hear that Deep Sea World in Scotland has received a prestigious award.
The centre has been presented with the Gold Leaf Award from VisitScotland's Green Tourism Business Scheme, reports the Scotsman.
Deep Sea World is home to a number of fascinating animals from sharks to seals and has long been popular among tourists and locals alike.
VisitScotland honoured the centre for its environmental work, particularly in reducing pollution, recycling waste and supporting local conservation projects.
'We're all absolutely delighted,' said Deep Sea World's general manager Nigel Burnett.
'Encouraging sustainable practices ensures the continued enjoyment of the environment for future generations.'
The centre performed exceptionally well in the VisitScotland awards, achieving top marks in all criteria.
